MIR History
As part of our Tenth Anniversary we are trying to capture some of the history of Mr. International Rubber. We launched our first effort in this regard, with photos and a listing of all the men who have held the title of Mr. International Rubber.
In the very near future we will begin posting a more detailed history of Mr. International Rubber that is being written by fetish author Tim Brough and will be featured in his upcoming book on the rubber fetish.

M.E.C., RubClub, and LC Roma to Send Delegations to MIR2007
Three European fetish clubs have begun forming delegations to attend this year's 10th anniversary events and to support their contestants in Mr. International Rubber 2007.
M.E.C., the French rubber association, will be sending members of their club to support Mr. M.E.C. Rubber France, Stephane. This year marks the return of the Frenchmen to the contest following in the footsteps of Yannick Kerjose who won the title of MIR2002.
Meanwhile, Rubclub, the German Rubber Club, will be sending members to cheer on Mr. Rubclub 2006, Christian, in his effort to bring the title of Mr. International Rubber back to Germany for a third consecutive year!
And Leather Club Roma will be sending a delegation in support of Mr. Rubber Italia 2006, Maurizio. Maurizo is the second Italian to compete in MIR, following in the footsteps of the first Mr. Rubber Italia, Andrea, who was the first runner up in MIR2004.
West Coast Rubber Results
West Coast Rubber weekend has come and gone. If you were in attendance you know what an eventful weekend it was. Thunderstorms, flash floods, earthquakes, not your average weekend in the desert in rubber! Regardless of mother nature, this weekend was a resounding success!
6 contestants competed for the title of Mr. West Coast Rubber 2006 Michael O'Conner of San Francisco was the winner when the votes were totaled. Michael will be competing at Mr. International Rubber 2007 and adds to the growing field of contestants from around the world.
NEW - Mr. Midwest Rubber
The inaugural Mr. Midwest Rubber contest, a preliminary to Mr. International Rubber will be held on September 30, 2006 in Chicago at the Touché bar.
Mr. Midwest Rubber will join the existing regional contests in the United States, to send a representative from the central states of the USA to compete in MIR. While the contest is being held in September of this year, the organizers state that the contest will most likely move to a summer date next year.
Mr. Rubber Montreal and Mr. Leather Montreal combine forces!
Mr. Rubber Montreal 2006, Francis, tells us that the Mr. Rubber Montreal 2007 contest will be held in conjunction with the revised Mr. Leather Montreal 2007 in December of this year. Current International Mister Leather, Bo Ladashevska, is helping to spearhead the effort to unite the Montreal fetish communities in one weekend of celebrations.
Details are still being finalized but this has the makings of a great weekend! Stay tuned for details.
